How to Upgrade (Standard / Pro)

This guide explains how to create and pay a BTC invoice, how the BTC amount is calculated, and how to verify your payment and subscription status.

Before you start

  • Have a Bitcoin wallet or exchange account that can send on‑chain BTC with a configurable network fee.
  • Make sure you can send the exact BTC amount shown on the invoice plus network fees on top.
  • We recommend choosing a fee level that confirms in a few minutes.

Create the invoice

  1. Open Cabinet → My Subscription (URL: /account#tab=subscription).
  2. Click Upgrade to Standard or Upgrade to Pro.
  3. An invoice appears with: plan, USD price, BTC amount, a BTC address, and a QR code.
    A Cancel upgrade button is shown while the invoice is pending.

How the BTC amount is calculated

  • The BTC amount is fixed at invoice creation time.
  • Conversion uses the Binance spot BTC/USDT rate by default; if Binance is unavailable, a fallback source is used (configured by the administrator).
  • The locked BTC amount does not change with later market moves.
Field Meaning
USD The plan price in USD.
Rate BTC/USDT price (Binance by default; fallback if needed).
BTC USD ÷ Rate — the exact amount to send.

Pay the invoice

  1. Scan the QR code with your wallet or copy the BTC address and amount (use the “Copy” button).
  2. Send the exact BTC amount to the shown address. Network fees are not included — add them on top.
  3. Submit the transaction.

Tip: If your wallet rounds the amount, edit it to match exactly (to 8 decimals if needed). Underpayment may delay automatic matching.

How payment confirmation works

  • The system checks your invoice address via the mempool.space explorer API.
  • We require 2 confirmations for an invoice to be marked as paid.
  • Checks run via every ~5 minutes. You can simply keep the page open; it refreshes the status.

The invoice may show an expiry time. If it expires before payment is detected, cancel it and create a new one.

Verify your payment and subscription

  1. Open Cabinet → Payment History (URL: /account#tab=history). You’ll see the invoice row with status and timestamps.
  2. After 2 confirmations, status becomes paid and a txid appears.
  3. Open Cabinet → My Subscription. Your account role changes automatically to Standard or Pro, and upgrade buttons are hidden.

Troubleshooting

  • Sent but still pending: Wait for confirmations. You can also view the address on mempool.space to see the latest status.
  • Under/overpaid: Exact amount is best for auto‑match. If you sent a different amount, contact support with your txid.
  • Wrong network (e.g., Lightning): Only on‑chain BTC is supported.
  • Expired invoice: Use Cancel upgrade and create a fresh one.

FAQ

Can I change the plan later?
Yes. Cancel a pending invoice and create a new one, or upgrade from Standard to Pro later.

Can I pay from an exchange account?
Yes, if it sends on‑chain BTC and lets you set a sufficient fee.

What if Binance price source is unreachable?
The system automatically switches to a fallback source; your BTC amount is still locked at creation time.
